Joining 'Tatsunoko Production' after graduating from university, he left the company in 1987 to start his own business, generating many animation movies and game works as a producer.

Notable works from Ishikawa-san include "GHOST IN THE SHELL / Koukaku Kidoutai" (1995) ranking 1st on the U.S. Billboard chart, was the herald for the popularity of "Japanimation, and "Innocence" (2004) which was first nominated for the Cannes International Film Festival competition section as a Japanese animation piece, also notable is "BLOOD THE LAST VAMPIRE" (2000) which was the original source of the documentary film 'Last Blood' released in 2009.
