|Experience Zones ⟩ Moekana
The brainchild of Danny Choo, Moekana is a set of cards that helps to teach the basic Japanese syllables and their symbols, hiragana. The cards feature Mirai, Haruka and Kanata, all characters featured in Danny's TV show and website, Culture Japan.
The pack of 50 different Moekana cards feature illustrations by Japanese artist Ikkyuu - the adorable artwork alone is enough to help learners learn hiragana but there are many ways one can also use the cards to start learning Japanese.
One method is through Moekana's secondary function of a card game where two players compete to create as many words as possible using a pre-determined number of cards. The player with least number of cards left after forming the words is declared the winner.
AFA My will be hosting a Moekana competition. Stay tuned for details!
