Synopsis:

The sudden appearance of the irregular parasite “Gastrea”. With it’s bright red eyes and overwhelming strength, together with an exceptional regenerative ability, their invasion has cause mankind to suffer a helpless defeat.

With over half of the country lost, mankind is now surrounded by monoliths of the metal “Varanium”, their one and only weak point. Within the narrow “Area”, and living in fear of the Gastrea threat, live goes on without much excess, while hiding from attacks.

Amongst those that have survived, are organisations that offer mankind a modest resistance. They are the specialist groups with anti-Gastrea methods, the “Civil Security Agency”, also known as, civil officers.

One of these agencies, the Tendo Civil Security Agency, of which high school student Rentaro Satomi belongs to. Together with his partner Enju Aihara, they are engulfed in danger, while being cornered the destruction of Tokyo.
