CARILLUS<\/h3>\n

Carillus is the Director at Lorecrafters, AKA the \u201chead\u201d of the studio team. With over 7 years of experience as a professional creative, he uniquely blends engineering smarts and artistic flair to every story.<\/p>\n

He was previously the Creative, Merchandising and Events Director at Merryweather Media (MWM), where he provided art direction and planning across the majority of comic and merch projects under the studio. This also included work for ASTRALINE, the virtual talent agency arm of MWM; he successfully produced and launched the VROYALE card game, along with developing novel ways to produce extensive lore videos under extreme time and budget limitations.<\/p>\n

You might know his art and writing from WEBTOON series like \u201cExCo\u201d and the award-winning \u201cGrandma\u2019s Cake Recipe\u201d. As a true multi-hyphenate, Carillus has also crafted or assisted on various VTuber lore projects for big names like FSP’s Gen 2 – Ravanis, hololive\u2019s Mori Calliope, and VShojo\u2019s kson (at Anime Expo 2022); often writing, directing and drawing for these projects.<\/p>\n

At Lorecrafters, he teams up with Cazz to provide engaging narratives to life and building solid, sustainable production pipelines from the ground up \u2013 while sharing his knowledge with fellow creators along the way.<\/p>\n

CAZZ<\/h3>\n

As Creative Producer and Studio Manager at Lorecrafters, Cazz is the \u201cheart\u201d of the studio team \u2013 known for connecting the right people to bring big creative ideas to life.<\/p>\n

With over 6 years as a professional creative, Cazz formerly served at Merryweather Media\u2019s (MWM) first comic letterer, then rose to studio management and creative production during the pandemic. During her time at MWM, she wrangled diverse projects, oversaw studio finances, and provided vital communication + direction for artists, talents (ASTRALINE), clients and partners alike \u2013 often on challenging budgets and short notice.<\/p>\n

As her virtual persona RAINA (geared towards VTuber-facing work and content), she boasts an extensive production portfolio. She has produced and managed narrative projects for prominent VTuber agencies (hololive, VShojo, Nijisanji, First Stage Production) and various indie talents. Her work also includes VA direction (and sometimes voice acting) for many of these projects, and overseeing brand collaborations + comic\/ad productions (VROYALE, Gamer Supps, Ironside PC). She also provided planning and logistics support for ASTRALINE\u2019s talent managers and all their projects.<\/p>\n

Beyond these roles, Cazz co-created ExCo and Grandma\u2019s Cake Recipe on WEBTOON with Carillus, and contributed translation work for Manga Materials\u2019 anatomy study guides. She also formerly provided community management for various artist learning communities on Discord.<\/p>\n

At Lorecrafters, she teams up with Carillus to empower creators to tell their own stories \u2013 whether through direct production assistance, or guiding them to do it themselves sustainably!<\/p>\n

Erikartoon is a Singapore-based illustrator influenced by anime, video games, and dark Asian folklore. Dan Kanemitsu<\/h3>\n

Freelance translator, author, and IOEA advisor.<\/p>\n

Born March 30th, 1972 in Tokyo, Japan. Dan graduated with B.A. in Area Studies (East Asia) at the University of Minnesota. Taking advantage of his bycultural background, Dan has been doing professional translations since 1988 (his first notable translation project was the English translation of Tony Takezaki\u2019s AD Police 25:00.) Since then, he has worked with both US and Japanese companies and individual creators on various anime and manga projects, not only as a translator, but as a creative and cultural consultant.<\/p>\n

Regarding anime, Dan’s major projects include Slayers, Dirty Pair Flash, Gasaraki, Love Hina, Nadesico, Patlabor 1 and 2 (2006 Bandai Visual USA release), GUN\u00d7SWORD, Black Lagoon, Space Battleship Yamato 2199, the entire Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition series, all Netflix version of Evangelion, the Japan Anima(tor) Expo series, Shin Godzilla, Shin Ultraman, The Dragon Dentist (2017), In This Corner of the World, and TEVI (English to Japanese translation and dubbing supervision.) Dan has supplied translations for Excel Saga, Black Lagoon, Initial D and many other manga titles.<\/p>\n

He has a firm background in doujinshi and has written numerous articles regarding censorship issues facing anime, manga, and video games in Japan today. He is currently involved in the production of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX.<\/p>\n

Dan Kanemitsu has been a founding contributor to the IOEA and hopes to encourage more world wide cultural exchanges through creative activities.<\/p>\n
