After Anime Festival Asia’s success comeback in Jakarta, Indonesia from 3rd to 5th May 2024, AFA Indonesia will return again from 6th to 8th June 2025 at Jakarta Convention Center!

Introducing the faces of AFA, Seika and AFAkun are AFA’s beloved mascots who appear in our events’ key visuals.

Seika

Introduced in 2014, Seika is Anime Festival Asia’s official mascot. She is seen in the key visual of every AFA as well as other regional events such as AFA Creators Super Fest and AFA Station. Seika’s trademark is her bright pink twintail hairstyle. She is illustrated by many popular artists around the world for AFA’s different events!

AFAkun

AFAkun is Anime Festival Asia’s official character mascot and is often seen in key visuals and merchandise collaterals. AFAkun’s trademarks would be his striking red colour suit, the “A” on his chest and his headphones.

Our massive exhibition hall is home to everything Japan Pop Culture!

From showcases of the latest anime titles, to exhibitions of the biggest names, AKIBA TOWN offers merchandise, services, immersive interactions for fans to support their favourites, learn about new trends, upcoming releases and have fun doing so!

Located in our exhibition hall, AKIBA STAGE is where regional talents shine amongst showcase performances of renowned titles to a captive audience.

Passion burns brightly through non-stop sessions alternating between song, dance, DJs, and more!

CREATORS HUB is a dedicated by fans, for fans community area within AFA’s exhibition hall.

Renowned creators that include illustrators, crafters and more, will exhibit their self-published products of fan merchandise for fellow fans.

COSPLAY HUB is a dedicated area for regional cosplayers to exhibit their self-produced cosplayer merchandise, as well as organise their own meet and greet sessions with fans.

What is culture without the flavours and textures related to it?

At FOOD STREET, the booths lined up offer a wide range of hearty snacks or light bites for those who want a taste of Japan. Traditional, fusion or even novelty trends, all is welcome here.

With the rise of gaming as an interest and bonding activity, AFA has created a new zone dedicated to all things related to games.

Day Stage

Guest talk shows, premiere screenings, and exclusive contents!

DAY STAGE is set in a hall of its own, with seats for an exclusive and comfortable experience.

This stage is where the biggest names in the industry feature the work that goes into their latest titles, hold premiere screenings, special showcases and dialogues to engage with fans.

I Love Anisong Concert

A celebration of Japanese Pop music and artistes!

Created in 2009, this brand is unique to SOZO. “Anisong” is a coined word popularised by AFA to celebrate “anime songs” within the region and was created to establish AFA’s concert component.

Since then, it has brought in the largest amount of Japanese music artistes in Asia for nights of rousing performances.

Besides “I Love Anisong”, AFA’s concert component has also hosted music labels and exclusive themed concerts where the line-up and song list is curated for a most exhilarating experience.
