Born in the UK and currently based in Tokyo, Danny Choo is the producer of the Culture Japan brand which makes Japanese culture more accessible to the world through a series of terrestrial TV shows, characters, products and events. The TV shows include Culture Japan and Japan Mode.
Danny has been recognized for his work by the Japanese government and was appointed as a member of their Creative Industries Internationalization Committee. Danny is also the creator and producer of Mirai Suenaga - the mascot character for Culture Japan who has made appearances in Japanese games, anime and has collaborated with companies such as Air Asia, Touch 'n Go, Kinokuniya, Good Smile Company, Bushiroad, Ascii Media Works, King Records, Nitroplus and more.
Currently residing in Tokyo, Ferlyn Yoshimi is an avid Japan pop culture fan and has a long standing history with AFA when she was a part of the original Moe Moe Kyun Maid cafe lineup back in 2009.
In 2010, Ferlyn changed gears and was the emcee for the stage events at AFA and has since been the co-host on stage ever since. Speaking English, Mandarin and Japanese, she has also worked with Danny Choo on seperate occasions for his tv show Culture Japan and online broadcasts on Nico Nico Douga and Youtube.
She now splits her time in Japan between her passion for Japan pop culture and E-sports working activelywith Moba Game League of Legends shoutcasting games and organizing online tournaments in Japan.
Reiko is a Japanese/English bilingual event emcee and voice- over artist. Born in Japan, raised in Singapore, her passion lies in bringing the 2 nations closer together.
In 2007, she started her career as a radio DJ for a J-POP programme at a local radio station, which had unlocked the doors to her unique carrier as an event emcee. Today, she is a familiar face for many Japan-related events held in Singapore.
She hit the AFA stage in 2008-2009 as the event's inaugural emcee, and is delighted to be back for AFA 2013 to host the stage along with her fellow co-hosts. She is also very excited to be able to feel the "AFA moment" together with all the Anime / J-POP / J- ROCK lovers from Singapore and around the world.
He was born in Tokyo, 1975. Currently an announcer at Nippon Broadcasting System, Hisanori Yoshida is also the Winner of The 49th Galaxy DJ Personality Award for his radio program "Myu~Comi+Plus".
Making use of his deep knowledge of Anime, Comics, Idols and Rakugo, he serves as MC at more than 15 Anime events yearly. Since he is able to conduct interviews with more than 100 anime seiyuus (voice cast) and creators through his work, Yoshida feels that he is the happiest anime fan.
On top of everything, he also organizes Anisong DJ events.

In 2000, He was the scenario writer Nitroplus's maiden work, the PC game "Phantom -Phantom of Inferno-" From then on, he also worked on scenarios for multiple games from the same company, such as "Kikokugai: The Cyber Slayer" and "Saya no Uta".
From 2004, he started writing novels, with his characteristic work being "Fate/Zero" (adapted into an anime in October 2011). From 2008, he also began writing scripts for anime, being in charge of multiple works such as "Blassreiter" (series development and episode scriptwriter), "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" (scriptwriter), "Psycho-Pass" (story creator and scriptwriter) and "Suisei no Gargantia"" (series development and episode scriptwriter).
On 26 October 2013, the movie version of "Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Rebellion", written by him, will be shown nationwide in Japan.

Born in 1975. Works for Fuji TV as "editor-in-chief" of the famous noitaminA block. Contributed to launch of "noitaminA" and has worked as chief producer for original series such as "Eden of the East" and "PSYCHO-PASS".

Naoyoshi Shiotani is one of the up-and-coming creators at studio Production I.G. He steadily worked up the ranks until he gained acclaim for directing the third opening sequence for the TV series, "BLOOD+". Shiotani made his directorial debut with the 60-min. film, "Tokyo Marble Chocolate" in 2007. He also lent his talent as the animation director and storyboard artist for the CGI movie "Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror" (2012). He also directed the movie "Blood-C: The Last Dark", and is now focusing on his role as the director for "PSYCHO-PASS".

Tomohiko Ito works at A-1 Pictures, and is most recognized as the director of the hit series "Sword Art Online". He made his directorial debut with the animated series "Occult Academy."
Ito's long list of credits includes "Death Note", "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time" and "Summer Wars" to name a few.
This will be Tomohiko Ito's first time appearing at AFA13 and he is looking forward to share his thoughts on "Sword Art Online".

As Aniplex's producer, Shinichiro Kashiwada has been involved with numerous titles including "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" TV series (assistant producer) and "Oreimo Series" (assistant producer). He is the chief producer for the hit animated series "Sword Art Online".
Character Designer, Shingeki no Kyojin
Born in 1975. Graduated from the Tokyo campus of Yoyogi Animation Institute. Originally from Production I.G, he currently works at WIT STUDIO. As character designer, his representative works include "Psycho-Pass" and "Attack on Titan".
Director, Shingeki no Kyojin
Born in 1976. In 2005, he made his directorial debut with the OVA "Otogi-Jushi Akazukin" His main directorial works include "Death Note", "High School Of The Dead", "Guilty Crown" and "Attack on Titan".
Hails from Hyogo Prefecture. Has credits in various anime such as "Heroic Age", "Darker Than Black -Ryuusei no Gemini-" and "Nerawareta Gakuen". She also voices Mikasa Ackermann in "Attack on Titan" as well as "China Kousaka" in "Gundam Build Fighters".
Besides being part of Milky Holmes, Suzuko Mimori and Sora Tokui also have voicing roles in Love Live!, playing the roles of Umi Sonoda and Nico Yazawa respectively. Together with Emi Nitta who voices Honoka Kosaka, these 3 voice actress will be special guests at AFA13!
μ's is a school idol group centering Honoka Kosaka, the main character of "Love Live! School idol project". The group consists of 9 members and they appear not only in the anime, but also in the real life--the voice actresses of μ's perform events such as live concerts. AFA's guests, Emi Nitta, Suzuko Mimori and Sora Tokui are the members of μ's."
Hailing from Nagano Prefecture, Emi Nitta was signed by management company S Inc. after passing their new talent search auditions in 2009. She also provides the singing voice for Honoka for all music from the Love Live! series, including those released under the 9-member unit µ's as well as the sub-unit Printemps.
A Tokyo native, Suzuko Mimori is represented by Hibiki Cast. As Umi, she provides the singing voice for her character as well for the series, including those released under the sub-unit lily white, on top of those release under µ's.
From Chiba Prefecture, Sora Tokui is also represented by Hibiki Cast. Of the guests invited for AFA13, she is the only one voicing a 3rd year high school student, Nico, while Honoka and Umi are 2nd year students. Nico is also part of the sub-unit BiBi, for which Sora Tokui also provides the singing voice for.
In the near future, we can look forward to a second season of the anime as well as a game on the Playstation Vita. All of them will be performing as part of µ's at their concert at Saitama Super Arena in 2014. Do look forward to their appearance at AFA13!
A Tokyo native, Ryohei Kimura has a rich background in voice acting. His credits include Akira Takizawa of "Eden of the East, Judar of " Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic", Yugo Hachiken of "Silver Spoon," as well as L-Elf of "Valvrave the Liberator" just to name a few.
Originally from Tokushima, Ryouta Ousaka has played many roles in popular anime. These include, Yuki Sanada of "Tsuritama", Satan Jacob a.k.a. Sadao Mao of "The Devil Is a Part-Timer!", Sugane Tachibana of "Gatchaman Crowds", and Haruto Tokishima of "Valvrave the Liberator" among others.
In 2010, BABYMETAL was formed. When their first music video "Doki☆Doki Morning" debuted on Youtube, the initial shocking reaction it created was, "What did I just watch?!!" Through word-of-mouth, they began to gather more and more fans, accessing from all over the world, such as North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
In August 2012, they performed at one of the biggest music festivals in Japan, "SUMMER SONIC 2012", and became the youngest artistes ever to perform at SUMMER SONIC. In November 2012, BABYMETAL made their overseas performance debut at Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2012.
Their major debut single (I.D.Z. Ijime, Dame, Zettai) has peaked on the Oricon daily charts at fifth, after its release in January 2013 and ranked sixth on the weekly charts. 2 member male unit consisting of Ito Kashitaro (Vocalist) and Lefty Monster P(Bass / Guitar / Keyboard) .
The two were classmates since middle school, and first formed a band then. After graduation, they went their separate ways in their musical endeavours. After some time, they reformed the band.
Individually, from 2012, Ito began uploading covers of songs into Nico Nico Douga, while Lefty Monster P uploaded original compositions using the Vocaloid software onto the same site.
With Nico Nico Douga as the main uploading site, they received 100 thousand hits within 2 months. Within a year, they logged 1 million hits. Despite being active for barely a year, they became very popular individually at a very fast pace.
Concurrently, they felt the need to release music together, resulting in the formation of Itowokashi in June 2012. Slightly before the formation in April 2012, they released their 1st mini album "Hoshi Ai" (as Ito Kashitaro/ Lefty Monster P). Their 2nd mini album "Onko Chishin" was released in October the same year.
They are not just known for being the "new music group from Nico Nico Douga", but also for being the hosts on the official Nico Nico Douga channel "Friday Nico Radio" and other events. They are a unit that cannot be On their live tour between March and April in 2013, more than 12000 people attended their shows in 31 locations.
Prizmmy☆ is a Girls' Dance and Vocal unit that was form in 2012 by avex Dance Master. In the first 3 cours of the TV anime broadcasted from April 2011 to March 2012, "Pretty Rhythm: Aurora Dream", Mia, Reina and Karin appeared as Prism Maids in the live-action portion of the show. Together with Ayami, who won the Pretty Rhythm prize at the "avex kids Project Kiratto☆Entame Challenge Contest" in the summer of 2011, the 4 came together to form Prizmmy☆.
Prizmmy☆ started their activities in 2012. In March of the same year, they debuted with the song "Everybody's Gonna Be Happy", used as the ending theme song for the 4th cour of Pretty Rhythm: Aurora Dream.
