Director Masashi Ishihama is known for his distinctively “cool” visuals and unique worldview. His talent is showcased in works such as “Shin Sekai Yori” and the opening storyboard of “Attack on Titan”. In “Shin Sekai Yori”, Ishihama adapted an epic SF novel into a striking animated film.

He brings his edgy directorial style to the original theatrical anime, “Garakowa”.
