bless4 is an American-born Japanese vocal and dance group consisting of 4 siblings – Akashi, Kanasa, Akino and Aiki – of the Kawamitsu family. They formally debuted in 2003 with BGM Japan with the single “Good Morning! Mr. Sunshine”. In 2009 they contributed to Disney’s animated series Stitch with the ED theme “Stitch is Coming” and the insert song “Hitori Jyanai”. bless4 took 1st place in the Celebrity Acappella Championship and 3rd place in the 7th Celebrity Kaeuta Ou Finals. In 2014, together with Akino, bless4 released “Extra Magic Hour” – the OP for anime series ‘Amagi Brilliant Park’ – the single took #20 ranking on the Oricon Charts.

bless4 also made their Europe debut with the song “Dandelion”. They made their mark in Radio Berlin’s International Ranking, placing #1. They created “Warner MyCal’s Christmas” song.
In 2011, their album “Yumetsumugi’ placed #3 in Billboard Japan.In 2012, Tokyo TV Anime “Aquarion EVOL” theme song “Kimi no Shinhwa~Aquarion dai ni shou” placed #3 on the Oricon Charts and placed #1 in anime category ranking.

In 2005, Akino, then only 15, made her debut for her solo music career with the song composed and arranged by Yoko Kanno ,“Sousei no Aquarion”, the OP theme of the anime series “Sousei no Aquarion”, the iconic phrase ““一万年と二千年前から愛してる♪”  (I’ve loved you since 12,000 years ago) once again caught everyone’s attention 2 and a half years later within her debut single. The release is ranked #26 in the Oricon Charts; she subsequently released a 2nd single “Go Tight” the following year – this ranked #18 in the Oricon Charts and was used as the new OP theme for Sousei no Aquarion. “Sousei no Aquarion” was also the #1 hit in Oricon Ring Tone Ranking, iTunes Download Ranking, AMAZON CD Ranking, Karaoke Ranking, etc.! Awarded “2009 JASRAC”  Silver Award.

As her solo music career continued to take flight, Akino went on to release several more singles and album – all of which music were used as OP, ED or insert songs for the ‘Sousei no Aquarion’ and ‘Aquarion EVOL’ TV series, OVA and movie. In 2014, she contributed to the OP and ED theme-songs for the visual-novel game ‘Senjou no Waltz’ (戦場の円舞曲) by OTOMATE and Idea Factory; and in 2015, her song “Miiro” (海色) is used as the OP theme for the hit anime series ‘Kantai Collection’ (adapted from the #1 online browser game of the same name by DMM.com and Kadokawa Games) – the single is a whooping success which took #2 ranking on the Oricon Charts shortly after its release.
