GENERAL RULES

Attendee Guidelines for C3AFA Singapore 2017

Due to heightened security concerns in Singapore, and past issues, We have come up with rules and policies with regards to attending the event. Please understand our guidelines for a pleasant experience at C3AFA Singapore 2017 this year!

Definitions:

Event staff shall be defined as a person who is working in the employ of C3 Anime Festival Asia 2017. This includes, but not limited to, marshals, photographers, and security. Exhibitors are not event staff but may instruct you within and around the areas of their booth.

Attendee(s) shall be defined as any person within the event area of C3 Anime Festival Asia 2017. This includes, but not limited to, exhibitors, cosplayers, photographers, and members of the public.

Event area shall be defined as the third floor foyer and concourse, (excluding meeting rooms), and fourth floor halls of Suntec Singapore Exhibition and Convention Centre. Any area outside of this is not part of the event area. However, we ask that attendees remain mindful of these guidelines outside of the event area as well.

Rules and Conditions:

1. General

  1. C3 AFA Singapore will not be responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged property.
  2. C3 AFA Singapore will not be responsible for any injury or death resulting from the event.
  3. No outside food and drinks are allowed within the Exhibition, Main Stage and Concert areas. Plain water in water tumblers is allowed.
  4. No smoking is allowed at all times.
  5. Running and shoving is prohibited at all times.
  6. By entering the event area, attendees hereby give consent to having your likeness taken in video or photo and/or published by attending media.
  7. There is no guarantee that guests will receive fan gifts. Please respect staff’s instructions.
  8. No photography or video/audio recording is allowed in the Main Stage and Concert area or any designated area.
  9. Organisers reserve all rights to remove persons violating the any rules from the event without any form of refund.

2. Ticketing

  1. Admission into the Exhibition, Main Stage and Concert areas are only by wristbands.
  2. Children under the height of 90cm can enter the Exhibition and Main Stage area, (not inclusive of the concert are) free if accompanied by 1 paying adult.
  3. Entry into the Exhibition and Main Stage area uses wristbands.
  4. Entry into the concert uses wristbands. These wristbands can only be redeemed at the event by showing an e-ticket (by print-out or on mobile phone) or a physical ticket, at a designated counter.
  5. Please note that wristbands are to be worn on the wrist tightly before entry into the exhibition area, stage area or concert area. Entry will be refused if wristbands are not worn before entry. Entry will also be refused if wristbands are worn loosely and can be slipped off easily.
  6. Please only purchase official tickets from our ticketing agents listed on our website and official ticketing box counters. If found with an unofficial (e.g fake) ticket, you will not be allowed entry in to the event.
  7. Ticket scalping and illegal sales of other merchandise (without a paid booth) is prohibited.

3. Bags

  1. Bag checks will be conducted when entering the Exhibition, Main Stage and Concert area in Halls 401 to 406. There will be counters at the entrances of these areas for checks to be conducted. For faster clearance, have your bags opened and ready to be checked before it is your turn.
  2. Any bag larger than a shoe bag (dimensions of 35 cm x 20 cm by 20cm) will have to be opened up and checked visually.
  3. If attendees do not have anything larger than a shoe bag, they may go through the express lane. Visual inspections of the contents will still be made for any bag carried in the express lane.
  4. The event staff reserves the right to have you moved to the bag queue for checks at their discretion.
  5. At no time should any bag be left unattended. At all times, there should be another attendee looking after the bag.
  6. The event staff reserve the right to remove any attendees’ bags left unattended. Staff will engage unattended bags by asking three times. If no answer is given after the third, the bags will be removed. Unattended bags will have to be collected at the show management office in Hall 405. You will need to purchase a ticket to access the show management office. Any bags still in the possession of the event staff at the end of the event will be disposed of.

4. Concert

  1. VIP concert tickets are based on reserved seating. GA concert tickets and packages are based on free-standing and guests are admitted on a first come first served basis.
  2. Entry to the concert for those under the age of 12 is not allowed, unless accompanied by an adult. Both will require a ticket to enter the concert. Adults and children 12 years old and above will each require a ticket for admission into the concert.
  3. VIP attendees are asked to remain at their designated seats at all times during the concert. Standing in the aisle in the concert is not allowed. Continued failure to adhere to this rule will result in removal from the event without refund.

5. Costumes

  1. There are no restrictions on the genre of costumes that can be present in the event area.
  2. If the attendee’s costume is military, para-military, or law-enforcement themed, we ask that they remain mindful at all times on how the public may perceive your costume when you are wearing them. Please make an indication or feature on the costume that would indicate that it is a costume and not a real uniform. This also applies to any costumes that are from, but not limited to, anime, games and manga.
  3. If the attendee’s costume consists of a feature that conceals facial features, they may be asked to remove the feature at any time. This includes, but not limited to, masks, helmets and bandanas.
  4. If the attendee’s costume is out-sized or has features that protrude out, we ask the attendees be aware while walking around and to avoid hitting other attendees.
  5. The event staff reserves the right to ask any attendee to leave the event area or request the attendee to change out of costumes that are deemed inappropriate (but not limited to), e.g. indecent exposure (public exposure of genitalia, buttocks or breasts), outrage of modesty, make cause for public alarm (for example, terrorist wearing a suicide vest), etc.
  6. Attendees should not engage in poses that are sexually suggestive or make cause for public alarm.
  7. If you have a replica weapon, please refer to section 6.

6. Weapons

  1. If attendees are bringing any replica weapons to the event, we ask that they remain mindful and transport them to and from the event in a covered bag, e.g. rifle bag for replica firearms or cloth sheath for swords. Only take them out once you are in the event area.
  2. Anything that is able to discharge a projectile should be made safe. This include functional bows and crossbows with tensioned strings. Nerf guns should be unloaded and/or batteries removed.
  3. Replica metal edged weapons (e.g. swords, daggers, thrown weapons) of any length are not allowed at the event, even if the cutting edges are blunt.
  4. All replica firearms are required to have their muzzle tips coloured in orange.
  5. Spot checks of replica weapons will be made and cleared weapons will be marked with a coloured cable tie specific for each day.
  6. When walking around with replica weapons, please do not carry them in an aggressive manner, e.g. shouldering rifles, fingers inside trigger guards, swords raised, etc. If possible, carry firearms with your fingers away from the trigger and pointed downwards, and weapons sheathed.
  7. If attendees wish to present their weapon aggressively, we ask that they only do so when posing for a photo.
  8. When attendees are leaving the event area, they are reminded to keep the replica weapons for transport. Do not carry weapons outside of the event area openly to avoid alarming the public.

7. Harassment

  1. Attendees have the right to refuse any request for photos.
  2. Attendees should always ask other attendees for permission or have the acknowledgement of the attendee before taking the photo. This includes any AFA guests that may be in the event area.
  3. Any form of harassment by any attendee will not be tolerated. This includes verbal, sexual, physical and psychological abuse.
  4. Any attendee who thinks that they or anyone is the victim of such harassment should approach the event staff or notify the authorities.

8. Event staff

    1. Our event staff can be identified by their lanyards and reserve the right to instruct and advise attendees in the event area on the guidelines.
    2. If instructed by the event staff, please comply with their requests.
    3. The event staff reserves the right to ask or remove any persons from the event without refund should they be in violation of these guidelines.
    4. Please note that while C3AFASG17 is organizing the event, Suntec Singapore Exhibition and Convention Centre, the venue owners, has their own security as well.

They can be identified by their uniform. They reserve the right to instruct attendees as well.

9. Miscellaneous

  1. While attendees are welcome to hang out around the event area, they are reminded to not obstruct walkways and doors. The event staff reserves the right to ask any attendee to move from the affected area.
  2. Attendees are reminded to dispose of their trash in the proper receptacles.
  3. Everyone, not just the event staff, has a role to play in helping keeping the event safe and conducive for everyone to enjoy. If you spot anything that you think is out of place, please let our event staff know, or if the situation warrants it, please contact the authorities.

Failure to adhere to these guidelines will result in removal from the event area without refund, or if the situation warrants, offenders may be handed over to the relevant authorities.

ADMISSION POLICY

  • Admission into the event only by wristbands or paper tickets.
  • Children under the height of 90cm can enter the exhibition and main stage area, (not inclusive of the concert are) free if accompanied by 1 paying adult.

  • No admission into the concert area for children below 12 years old. Adults and children 12 years old and above will each require a ticket for admission into the concert.
  • VIP concert tickets are based on reserved seating. GA concert tickets and packages are based on free-standing and guests are admitted on a first come first served basis.
  • Cosplayers are welcomed to dress up at the event except for military or police attire.
  • Dangerous props such as blades with sharp edges, projectile weapons (NERF guns, ninja stars; shuriken etc) and metal props will not be allowed. Firearm replicas must be marked with a bright coloured safety tip or must look 100% identifiable as a toy. When traveling to the event, you must keep all props secured and covered.
  • No photography or video/audio recording is allowed in the concert venue or any designated area. Continued failure to adhere to this rule will result in removal from the event without refund.
  • VIP attendees are asked to remain at their designated seats at all times during the concert. Standing in the aisle in the concert is not allowed. Continued failure to adhere to this rule will result in removal from the event without refund.

REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY

  • The Organiser/Venue Owner reserves the right, without refund or compensation, to refuse admission/evict any person(s) whose conduct is disorderly or inappropriate or who poses a threat to security, or to the enjoyment of the Event by others.
  • Ticket holders assume all risk of injury and all responsibility for property loss, destruction or theft and release the promoters, performers, sponsors, ticket outlets, venues and their employees from any liability thereafter.
  • The resale of ticket(s) at the same or any price in excess of the initial purchase price is prohibited.
  • There is no refund, exchange, upgrade or cancellation once ticket(s) are sold.
  • The organisers reserve the right to amend the line-up at time without prior notice.
  • Please note that you will need to redeem a wristband before you can enter the concert area.
  • The exhibition + stage ticket and concert ticket comes in the form of wristband, all wristbands are to worn before entry into the exhibition area, stage area or concert area. Entry will be refused if wristbands are not worn before entry. Entry will also be refused if wristbands are worn loosely and can be slipped off easily. Replacements will NOT be given in these cases.
  • Once the wristbands have been clipped together, the clip and wristband cannot be removed unless the band is cut. Please only clip it onto your wrist before you use it on the day of the event. Replacements or refunds for clipped and intentionally damaged wristbands before or during the event will not be entertained.

What are my ticket options for the event?
You can choose to have e-tickets sent to your e-mail or physical tickets that you can collect at the venue or have them delivered to you (delivery for Singapore addresses only). You will get one e-ticket or physical ticket for each day. Buying a three-day package will give you three e-tickets or physical tickets. Please note that at the event, you still need to redeem a wristband for actual admission into the venue grounds.

When will I Love Anisong tickets go on sale?
AFA World Members Early Bird 3-Day VIP Package will go on sale on 15 Sep, Fri at 10am via online and end on Sep 18, Mon at 9am, or once sold out. Please note each transaction is limited to a maximum of two Packages.

Early Bird 3-Day VIP Package will go on sale on 18 Sep, Mon at 10am via online, call centre and physical outlets and end on 28 Sep, Thu at 9am, or once sold out. Please note each transaction is limited to a maximum of nine Packages/Tickets.

Normal 3-Day VIP Package, 1-Day VIP Ticket, 3-Day General Admission Package, 1-Day General Admission Ticket will go on sale on 30 Sep, Sat at 10am via online, call centre and physical outlets. Please note each transaction is limited to a maximum of nine Packages/Tickets.

What are the ticketing charges for the tickets?
APACTix charges a standard booking fee to facilitate the processing of your ticket/item order and to cover any administrative costs associated with each ticket sale.
• $7.50 booking fee per 3-Day Package
• $4 booking fee per 1-Day Ticket

How will seats be assigned for VIP Packages and tickets?
All seats are system allocated Best Available, you will not be able to select your own seats. Seats will be automatically assigned to you and made known after successful payment. The allocated row and seat will be reflected on the tickets and/or the Ticket Purchase Confirmation E-mail that will be sent to your registered e-mail address.

What sort of ticketing plan is being used for I Love Anisong concerts?
The “I Love Anisong” concerts are based on reserved seating for VIP tier and free standing for General Admission tier.

Can I get a refund or exchange my tickets?
Please note that no refunds will be entertained under any circumstances. Once the transaction is completed successfully, no refunds, cancellations or exchanges will be entertained. Please ensure that the number of tickets you wish to purchase is correct before making payment.

Tickets are not transferable and may not be resold, nor redistributed or used for any commercial or marketing event, activity, promotion or purpose, without the prior written consent of SOZO and the ticketing agent. All rights reserved to cancel any Tickets that have been transferred, resold or redistributed or otherwise used without the prior written consent of SOZO, and to deny any such Ticket Holder entry.

How long is the concert?
The concert will last approximately three hours.

May I know the performance order of a certain artiste?
We are unable to reveal the performance order of the concert.

Are there any photo opportunities with the artistes?
There are no photo opportunities with the artistes.

Can I pass gifts to the artiste?
You can try passing the gift to the artiste during their meet and greet session. However, whether they choose to accept is up to them.

I would like to send a flower stand display, how can I do so?
You can send the flower stands to Hall 406 on Nov 23rd onwards. Please note that AFA will not sign for the stands and the sender must send a representative to receive it, if the delivery requires it. AFA reserves the right to reject any stands larger than 200cm (height) by 60cm (width) by 60cm (depth) and reject or remove stands if they interfere with the running of the event. Clearing of the stands is on the onus of the sender and must be removed on the day of their performance, e.g. if the artiste is performing on Nov 24th, the stand must be removed by the end of the concert on the 24th.

How can I pay for my tickets to I Love Anisong?
We accept several methods of payment to accommodate your needs. We accept American Express, VISA, MasterCard and JCB via all channels. In addition to the aforementioned debit/credit cards, we accept cash and NETS at all our outlets.

Is there any other way to purchase tickets other than through the website or via other payment methods like cash?
Tickets are also available through our ticketing hotline +65 3158 8588 and all our outlets.

How can I collect my I Love Anisong Concert ticket(s) if I purchased them online?
The following delivery options are available:

  • Print-At-Home (PAH) is free of charge. Immediate delivery of your tickets to your email address for you to print at home. Fast, easy and free!
  • Outlet Pickup is $0.50 per order. Tickets can be collected from the Scotts Square outlet prior to event day. Please bring your credit card used for the transaction along with a photo ID that matches the name on your credit card and your booking confirmation email.
  • Venue Collection is $1.50 per order. Tickets can be collected from the counter located outside Hall 404, Level 4 of Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre on the day of the event. Please bring your credit card used for the transaction along with a photo ID that matches the name on your credit card and your booking confirmation email.
  • Mail is $1.50 per order to Singapore addresses only.
  • Registered Mail is $3 per order to Singapore addresses only.
  • Courier is $15 per order to Singapore addresses only. As tickets will be delivered during office hours, please ensure you provide a day time address where someone is available to sign for the delivery.
What if I have lost my Print-at-Home Ticket(s) or suspect that my e-mail has been compromised?

What is the period of time in which I must complete the transaction?
Each transaction is limited to a maximum of 8 minutes, during which your seats will be held for you to complete the transaction. After which, the system will release the seats back into the system and make them available for the next buyer. Please complete your entire transaction including payment during this period of time.

Do I have to register an account of APACTix's site to purchase the tickets?
You will need to register for an account on the AFASG site powered by APACTix prior to any purchase. Your account details will allow us to disseminate any event information to you in a timely manner. Please note that this account is different from APACTix’s other ticketing pages, and accounts from other APACTix ticketing pages cannot be used to buy tickets for AFASG and vice-versa. If you already have an account used for purchasing AFASG tickets in 2016, you do not need to create another new account.

Is there any deadline in purchasing I Love Anisong concert ticket(s) before the event?
Online ticket sales will end on 22 Nov, Wed at 12pm and continue on-site on 23 Nov, Thu (subjected to availability).

I have booked I Love Anisong concert ticket(s) outside of the country, can I collect my tickets during the event day at the event venue?
You may select Print-At-Home (PAH) as the delivery option. This is the fastest and most convenient way to receive your tickets. It is an electronic ticket that is sent to you via email as a PDF attachment. Each ticket contains a unique barcode that can only be scanned at the venue once. Please ensure you print all pages of each attachment if you buy more than one ticket at a time.

Alternatively, you may opt for Venue Collection. Tickets can be collected from the counter located outside Hall 404, Level 4 of Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre on the day of the event. Please bring your credit card used for the transaction along with a photo ID that matches the name on your credit card and your booking confirmation email.

How do I register for autograph balloting and how do I know when I have won?
You will be required to fill up a ballot application at a later date and results will be announced on our Facebook and website just before the event.

How do I enter the event with my tickets?
You will need to redeem a wristband for admission, with your concert ticket (e-ticket or physical ticket). With the wristband, you can enter the concert, main stage and exhibition area. Please note that wristbands are colour-coded by day and tier.

Where will the collection point for my wristbands and light stick at the venue be and what are the opening hours?
The collection point will be located outside Hall 404, Level 4 of Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre. Date and time will be announced at a later date.

Do I need to show anything to redeem the wristbands and lightsticks?
You will need to present your ticket(s) at the collection area. If you have purchased more than one ticket or ticket package in a single transaction, you must present all tickets (e-ticket or physical ticket) and redeem all wristbands at the same time.

For e-tickets, 
all collections must be made by the account holder who bought the tickets. In the event that the account holder cannot make the collection, the person collecting on behalf of the account holder must be present a photocopy of account holder’s photo ID and a letter of authorization. Please note the minimum size for the printout of Print-at-Home (PAH) ticket is A4. No printing services or PAH ticket retrieval services will be available at the venue.

Will there be any on-site ticket sales for "I Love Anisong" ticket(s) on the day itself?
You can purchase tickets on-site as long as they have not been sold out before the event.

What payment method can I choose for on-site ticket purchase?
For “I Love Anisong” concert tickets, we accept American Express, VISA, MasterCard, JCB, cash and NETS. For Exhibition and Exhibition+Stage tickets, payment is strictly via cash only.

In which hall(s) will the concert be held?
The concert will be held at Hall 406, Level 4 of Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre.

What time will the concerts start?
Doors will open at 6pm and the concert will start at 7pm, for all three days.

Am I allowed to take pictures or record videos during the concert?
All recording devices, inclusive of sound and visuals, are strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to remove those caught doing so from the hall without refund.

Can I move from my seat during the concert?
As a general rule, you may stand at where your seat is. However, leaving your seat to stand at another location, e.g. an empty seat, the aisle, etc, is not allowed at any time during the concert. Persons who are found leaving their seats and standing at another location will be asked to return to their seats.

Repeat offenders will be removed from the concert.
